These days, molding clay especially Play Doh has grown its popularity to kids as well as parents. With the use of molding clays, children can create different things. They can create different types of animals with the use of clay. They can even mold the clay into imaginative items they can think of. Inspiring their creativity. <br><br>



Play Doh is well appreciated by many kids since it is easy to mold. Easy molding of things with the use of Play Doh can be attributed to its recipe. It is composed of a mixture of wheat flour, hardening agent, salt, petroleum based agent, and borax. <br><br>



Many people have modified the original Play Doh recipe so kids can also experiment with the different mode of clay cooking as well as mold and play with it. There are different Play Doh recipes which you and your child can cook, mold and play with. Here are some suggested Play Doh recipes that is perfect to prepare during the holidays or if you simply want to be reminded of Christmas: <br><br>



Snowman Play Doh <br><br>



Help your kids prepare some salt, flour, water and oil. <br><br>



Once you have the complete ingredients, you need to direct your child to blend together the flour, salt and oil. The water should be gradually added until you can see that a big ball of dough is forming. <br><br>



In a clean working area, sprinkle some flour and knead the dough. Make sure that the dough is smooth and resilient. If you observe that the dough is dry, put in some water. If the dough is too damp add more flour on the exterior. <br><br>



To attach the snowman s head into its body, you need to dampen both ends with water. Lightly press the two balls together to ensure firmness. You can solidify your dough in two ways: first, you can let it air dry for two days. Secondly, you can bake it in the oven. <br><br>



If you want a colorful snowman, then you can paint it. Use any coloring material such as watercolors, enamels or paint sprays. Make sure that the dough is properly dried before you do any painting. <br><br>



Snow Play Doh <br><br>

To create a snow Play Doh recipe, you need to do the basic steps in doing the basic homemade Play Doh or obtain ready-made dough of Play Doh. Make sure to instruct your kids to prepare, laundry detergent, warm water and some food coloring. You also need an eggbeater or an electric mixer. <br><br>



Pour water and food coloring into a container. Gradually add the laundry detergent into the water mixture. With the use of a beater, blend the mixture. Mold the dough into snowballs. You can create small or big snowballs. <br><br>



To cook and prepare clay can teach your children some basic steps in cooking. To mold clays can nourish their creativity. To play with clays can bring out fun childhood memories. With your help, your kids can make Play Doh recipes at their very best. <br><br>
